Charity

Sports Traider Charity exists to give young people employment and sports participation opportunities. In doing so they gain confidence, self-esteem, retail skills and improve mental and physical health.

We do this by managing a professionally run chain of charity sports shops staffed by employees and volunteers. The charity uses the funds to invest in sports participation projects

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Become a volunteer

Anyone can volunteer. It’s very rewarding and a great way to:
to meet new people, acquire new skills or use existing skills, gain experience and make a big difference in your community

There are many simple ways to help, such as donating your time or your pre-loved items to our local shops in 11 locations around the UK, helping your local school and workshops, or volunteering regularly with a Sports Traider. You can do as much or as little as you want.

They inspire us as people who freely donate their time, helping generate funds and coaching in order to help others. As we look to the next 10 years we have some exciting plans to expand and develop the work we do. We can only do this alongside our partners so a big THANK YOU to those who have stood with us and will continue with us over the next 10 years.

This last year we celebrated 10 years as a charity. I would like to thank all of our volunteers for the fantastic contribution they make at Sports Traider through the chain of charity shops, and the support they give within the community.
